It is family friendly, and the service is quick. Also the food is authentic.

Just by chance we stopped in. What a great like place. The food was amazing and the whole staff was crazy busy but still gave us fantastic service

I stopped in here some years ago, it was delicious, being from Iowa I've always hoped I'd have the chance to stop in again, just did, food is absolutely delicious, friendly staff. If you like Mexican food I would highly recommend it,

Good chips, good salsa, wonderful atmosphere. Still waiting for the food.. Ok the food is excellent, though I have to note that they have a special menu for the Solar eclipse visitors.

It was good food, good portions, good atmosphere, awesome chips and salsa. Little mad we got charged for extra chips and a refill without being told but all in all still 4 star

The food here is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! This has become a regular stop when we're passing through Madras. We've never been disappointed with this place and definitely recommend it.

They say it's a Mexican food they lied I was there one time and I don't plan on ever ever going back their food was horrible if I could give them zero Stars I would they don't even deserve one!!🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Took 5 minutes before someone noticed us to sit. Margaritas were warm at first, tasted like premixed kind. Food was over priced, and not authentic like they think. Family owned and nice people. I don't agree with frozen made guacamole that you take out for the day. Our food was decent, but can taste is not made from scratch, only one other family while we dined, service slooow. I wish their business luck, but we won't be back. Authentic food isn't frozen and heated in the oven, plate was super hot. That is our flag.

All you locals that think the food is great obviously ain t ever ate at a real authentic place...the food was edible, that's it. Hardly any of the combo plates come with rice and beans, unless you want to pay extra, or a third item choice, chips were stale and salsa tasted like a mushed up tomato, and on the off chance you wanted more they charge you extra, and serving ground beef is not authentic. I asked the gentleman if he would put the world series game on, and I was just disregarded. I nevertheless gave the man his tip, even though he never came to my table once after bringing my plate...if I had known that taco shop were there on corner, I would have never went in this place...😝🤤😵🤒🤢

We stopped in on our way through town. Place was clean, service was great and very friendly. I was sad to learn the flan is only made on the weekends! I ordered the soft corn tacos. Pork, beef, and chicken. They were good, not great. Nothing to make me want to come back again, although I would stop in to try the flan!

Great long time local establishment. The current owner started as a dishwasher in 1981 and bought the place in 1993. This place is the embodiment of the American dream. Please support this kind of business whenever you can.The food here has always been great. Standard Ameri-Mex food with an old world Mexico flair and ambiance. Family owned and operated, so sometimes there's a few extra minutes getting your order, but it's always worth the wait. Hot, tasty and filling.Once again, a true example of hard work and dedication. El gusto es mío.

Ohhh I love this place!!! My favorite in Madras. I love the food... but I have not tried everything on the menu yet. I have known the Montano's for many many years. Salvador knows what I want when I walk in... he only has to ask which meat option I want and keep the diet Pepsi flowing. The whole family works there. My kids went to school with their kids! But I'm honest.. if the food sux I would tell u!!!! I love stopping in there when I head to madras! Way to go Mexico City!!!!

Excellent I arrived 20 minutes after they closed, ,,,and guess what? ????I was sent home with a really good Meal And I thought they were going to show me the door ,,,JAJAJAJA, ,,

we had such a wonderful time visiting with Papa Salvador and daughter Erica today...what a wonderful family run restaurant...Margarita's were the best we have ever had...fabulous food...enjoyed every minute of our visit...thank you!

My husband grew up going to this restaurant as a child. He was eager to try it again when we visited Oregon. It was great food, and very nice service. Family owned, which is nice to support the local community!

An amazing authentic Family owned restaurant... if you are not a local and already have your favorites, the enchilada Mexicans is out of this world and filled with an authentic burst of flavor! If you like spicy try the salsa verde, make sure you grab a jar of Mexico City salsa verde for the road as you'll be craving it later. Enjoy!!
